What exactly is the LVPRO FILMHOUSE?

Beyond a production space rental, LVPro Filmhouse is a gathering spot, flexible performance/event space, equipped with an open space studio, low platform stage, and alternate formal stage area with curtains and lighting rig, along with concessions bar and creative nooks; allowing for temporary setup and seating in a number of different configurations that enable a wide variety of performance types, events, classes/workshops, and experiences. 

Why are you doing this?

These entertainment strikes have hit us hard. Not only our pockets but also our outlets to create. We feel you may be struggling as well. We thought this would be a good way for everyone to make a little money as well as have an outlet to exercise our creative muscles.

Okay, so It says free but how much does it really cost?

The rental is free, but your suspicions are correct there is a caveat. The events you have must be ticketed events. The ticket price for the event must be at least $15 online and $20 at the door. While there’s no upfront cost. we do ask for %50 of your ticket sales so that everyone eats! LVRPO will set up the Eventbrite and you get 50% of the ticket sales. Once LVPRO receives the Eventbrite payout, we will forward your share of the sales via Venmo, Zelle, or Cash App. You also receive the Eventbrite and door sales ledger.

Can I give out comp tickets?

During consultation together, we will determine everyone who is a part of your production. Everyone else at the event has to have purchased a ticket. Each event is allowed up to 2 free comp tickets.

What kind of event can I have?

Whatever you want. As long as you are selling tickets to an audience anything goes. Past events at the Filmhouse include screenings, listening parties, book readings, mixers, stand-up comedy, burlesque, pop-up shops, album release parties, pumpkin carving events, etc. Whatever you can imagine let’s go for it.

What do I need to bring to have my event at the LVPRO FILM HOUSE?

You need to bring your ambiance. Depending on your event, you may not have to bring anything. We setup the seating, the stage, the lighting, the microphones, the screens, the tables, etc. All you need to bring is your talent and your audience. Now if you want to get fancy you will need to bring your own decorations, and whatever you want to jazz the place up with your personal touch.

Are there any restrictions on decorations?

Yes, NO GLITTER. don’t tape anything to the walls that will pull the paint off. Don’t tape anything to the mirrors

This sounds great but what if I need more time?

6 hours total is the limit for this deal, however, you can purchase more time at the normal rates.: Rehearsal or Event

What if I decide I don’t want to do the event anymore?

Canceling at the last minute is discouraged as it may take away an opportunity from others. A $250 cancellation fee will be charged for bookings canceled less than 7 days before the event. 

Is there a limit on how many people I can have at the event?

The only limitation is capacity, which is 60 people Standing or 50 People sitting.

Is there additional space available?

Yes, we partner with a studio down the hall, you may rent this space for your event using this link.

Can I record my performance?

This offer comes with one camera recording a wide shot of the stage. If you want to have more angles you may purchase our three-camera package to record your performance for $370.00

Will there be someone from LVPRO present for the event?

There will be someone from our team to help you set up the technical aspects of your event (camera, microphones, screens, etc.) Also, we will have someone checking tickets at the door. Once your event has started there will be someone from our team on the premises to answer questions and assist you when needed, but your event is run by you.

How long will the promotion be happening?

This promotion is for a limited time only. So be URGENT! all good things must come to an end. We don’t know when the end will be right now but it will not last forever.

I want to have an event at LVPRO FILMHOUSE but I don’t want to charge money for my audience at the door.

This probably is not the promotion for you. If you are looking to host a free event you should book the LVPRO FILMHOUSE at the normal rate, where there aren’t any restrictions on ticket events.

I understand we are splitting the door but am I able to sell products inside the event without sharing profits?

We only want a cut of the door. If you sell food, books, body oil, or whatever at your event that money is all yours. You are not allowed to sell alcohol unless you are licensed to do so in the state of New York.

How does the promotion for my event work?

You and your team are solely responsible for promoting your event. However, the studio may post on its social pages and website. You will need to provide The studio with the media and text you want for the Eventbrite. keep in mind it will take 1-3 business days for the event brite to be completed once we receive your materials.

What if only 4 people show up to the event?

Well, that’s not what we want. We expect you to make every effort to bring the audience you tell us you are anticipating to your event. We understand stuff happens, and we aren’t demanding you sell tickets to capacity but it is in both our best interest that we have an audience to perform in front of.

Does the time include set up and clean up?

Yes, your setup and breakdown time has to be within the total 6 hours provided. Let us know how you want the room set up before your event and it will be set that way before you arrive. When you arrive you can add your personal touch. We expect you to leave the place the way you found it in the time allotted.

Is there a limit to how many times I can book this deal?

Not really. You can only book one event at a time. Note that If only three buy tickets to your previous event you are not likely going to be able to book another one.
